Chef Cynthia Ferich is all for plating pasta on white plates, and to prevent your dinner from looking like a messy pile, use the following method. First, toss pasta with the sauce of your choice. Using tongs, twirl the pasta within a large ladle until it is in a “nice, tall bird-nest-looking bundle,” Ferich says. Add a little sauce to the plate, if you like and then plate the pasta on top. Add a sprig of fresh parsley or basil on top, as well as a sprinkling of cheese all the way to the rim of the plate.

Adventure and ‘Top Chefs’ at Kennett’s Mushroom Festival under the Culinary Tent!  From The Daily Local News  Cynthia Ferich (Goch) cooks a NEW Mushroom Recipe, as she cooks it once and serves it up twice!  A cooking demonstration filled with cooking tips, serving suggestions and options.  A book signing for the NEW Revised Edition of “MaMa Mia Cucina ~ A Flavor of Good Food and Good Family” will follow the demonstration on Sunday, September 11 at Noon – Under the Culinary Tent.

Cynthia shares the stage with The Food Network’s Iron Chef Jose Garces, Bravo TV’s Kevin Sbraga, and Fox Network’s Master Chef Jennifer Behm.

Cynthia shares her inspiration and celebrates her cookbook, MaMa Mia Cucina ~ A Flavor of Good Food and Good Family, her hometown roots of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and generations of family and cooking on “Pittsburgh Today Live” TV – KDKA.

It’s a WINNER!  Tiramisu Throwdown Winner at the WIM – Women In Motion Event!

Tiramisu Dessert was served at the November, 2010 Women In Motion’s Networking and Dining Event as a tasting competition.  Contestants competing at the event included Buca di Beppo, Vicker’s Tavern, Saint Peter’s Bakery, and Cynthia Ferich (Goch).  And…the winner is….!!
